happy heart's day

happy heart’s day!

Market City

a tour in the city was a moment to remember, specially when shared with people you love and treasure much.  we scheduled a day tour in the city, it was a tiring but fulfilling day.  we got our eyes stuffed with great views but got out wallets emptied (for pasalubongs).

this was just outside the Market City, after shopping before heading back to the MRT station, the oldies (if you know what i mean, all the uncles and aunties, LOL) had to rest for a little while - to strengthen those knees again, hahaha.  this was the seagullsssss moment to shine, those nasty seagulls! LOL i did enjoy feeding them with fries, well, they forced me.

even at my young days, i always loved listening to older people.  and those moments — laughter, tears out of joy and overflowing jokes - those are the moments that can never be replaced with anything in this world.  there is always pure joy in being with my family.

final destination, FOUND!

yes! i am back! and boy did i miss doing this. my last post was 2 months ago, but i have great news (not that anyone actually bothers to care, LOL) — i finally found it!!!

now i can stop searching, now i can say that there will be plenty of detours but there will only be one destination to return to, always.  well, i haven’t moved there yet nor am i moving there for the next year or so.  still, i know in my heart that i found it.  now i just need to make things happen - to reach the final destination.

MovieNight: EAT PRAY LOVE

i have always had a special thing for ice cream.  it has never failed me nor have i failed it (lol).  there has always been comfort in food and of course there is always pleasure in traveling around… seeing places you have never been to before… that it’s so overwhelming that it allows tears to flow in those mesmerized eyes.  that the beauty is not just seen by vision, it touches the heart and imprints memories that are beyond words.  for a minute there you may see life differently, you may appreciate life more.

i am not yet married and has never been and has no plans in experiencing a divorce, but i have had some share of feeling alone… but what i have learned, you maybe by yourself — and be happy.  sometimes we bother ourselves too much of hoping and wishing for something — ending up missing out on life itself.  there are things in life that was not given to us not because we are not worthy of it, it only means that there is something much better planned for us.  if it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have not worked hard enough or that you have not given your all, it is an experience and chapter in life to learn from and gain from.  sometimes you just need to appreciate your stand in life, and know that God molds us and loves us.

we may seek miles and miles away, we may have tasted all the spices in the world — for a moment we may feel happy and joyful, emotions that lasts for a moment and can easily be broken by a strand of hair.  there will never be comfort in another persons side, there will never be peace in the search for your lost soul… nor will there be love in all the wrong reasons of contentment or emotional security… there is no balance in all these things that we seek in this world…

there is only Jesus.
